What\'s this site all about?
One of the most difficult things we are ever called upon to do is to respond to hatred with love and evil with kindness, and to forgive the unforgivable. We respect the people who have responded to hatred with love, but when that very thing is demanded of us personally, our default seems to be anger, angst, depression, hatred, etc. Yet study after study shows that one of the keys to longevity and good health is to develop a habit of gratitude and let go of past hurts.

FurGiv.com contains a daily dose of short stories: in a few sentences, users can tell everyone about the moment that changed their life forever.

Want to live a long, happy life? Forgive the unforgivable. It really is the kindest thing you can do for yourself. Your enemy may not deserve to be forgiven for all the pain and sadness and suffering purposefully inflicted on your life, but you deserve to be free of this burden.

How does it work?
It\'s simple: Each user can contribute to the site and submit their own story by clicking on the Submit link in the menu at the top of the page. Use the story guidelines below to submit your story. To be published, your story will have to be approved by the users\' votes. As soon as your story is online, visitors can vote for it in two different ways: \' FurGiv, Deserves another chance\' when they agree or \'Forget about it,Screwed up big time\' when they think you put yourself into that situation on your own. These votes allow us to rank your stories in the \'Top Stories\' category, which can be found in the menu at the top of the page.
